PAT Trade Manager is a lightweight trade manager indicator for NinjaTrader 8 that adds a badge, points/ticks, and dollar-value breakdown chip beside NT8’s own native order-line tags—so a working Stop or Target shows which leg it is (T1/T2/S1/S2), its distance from entry, and its dollar value at a glance, without replacing or interfering with NT8’s native order lines, drag handles, or position tags.
PAT Trade Manager is a lightweight trade manager indicator for NinjaTrader 8 that reads your live position and its attached bracket orders, then draws one small chip per working Stop or Target — right next to NT8’s own native tag for that order. It is not a signal generator and does not place orders; it is a pure chart overlay that makes the orders you already have on the chart easier to read at a glance.
For the live position on the account and instrument selected in Chart Trader, working exit orders are split into Stops and Targets, then numbered by distance from your entry price — closest first. T1 is the nearest target, T2 the next furthest out, and likewise S1/S2 for stops. Orders at the same price and type are aggregated into a single row with quantities summed, matching how NT8 itself treats scaled-in orders at one price level.
Each chip reads left to right: a colored badge (T1, S2, etc.), muted points/ticks distance from entry, a thin divider, then a bold, color-coded dollar value — that distance × quantity × the instrument’s point value, signed. The points figure stays secondary and muted on purpose; the dollar amount is the number most traders actually scan for, so it is shown bold and in full color.
NT8 already draws a ribbon-flag tag, a draggable line, and a price-axis tag for every working order, natively. PAT Trade Manager deliberately doesn’t try to duplicate or replace any of that — there is no supported API to do so, and doing so would break native drag-to-modify behavior. It only adds the one thing NT8 doesn’t already show: which leg of the bracket an order is, and its points/tick/dollar breakdown, right-anchored so its edge sits flush against NT8’s own tag.
Colors are pulled from a Dark/Light token palette that matches the rest of the Price Action Tools family, selectable per-indicator to match your chart’s skin. A single Font Size property (Normal or Large) scales the entire chip — text, padding, badge, and corner radii together — so a larger chip stays proportional instead of overflowing its own container.
This is not a signal generator and it does not place orders. It only adds context to orders you’ve already placed.
PAT Trade Manager shares its design language with Next Bar Entry, so the two look and feel like they belong to the same toolkit on your chart. Pair it with PAT Risk Manager if you also want your per-trade loss and contract limits enforced automatically, not just displayed — or with Advanced Second Entry for cleaner setup identification before the bracket is ever placed.
