PAT Chart Trader Free Trial lets you run the full order panel on your own NinjaTrader 8 charts for 7 days before you decide to buy. Nothing is held back: the trial runs as Pro, the complete edition, so the order preview, ATM presets and order lines are all unlocked, along with every button, every entry type, the order hotkeys and the pre-send risk checks.

Place trades on Sim or Playback, get a feel for the drag-to-chart entries and the trade-management buttons, and see whether it belongs in your daily workflow. Get the Most From the Trial

Seven days goes quickly, so set the panel up on the charts you actually trade on day one. Load your usual instruments and ATM templates, save them as presets, then use it for every Sim entry that week instead of switching back and forth between order windows. Turn on PAT order lines from the Account row’s right-click menu so you can manage each trade on the chart.

Run PAT Risk Manager? Set a low contract cap on a Sim account and try to go over it. Watching the panel trim or refuse that order is the quickest way to understand what the pre-send check does for you.

Trial vs Full Version

The trial and the full version are the same download. The only difference is the license: a trial license runs for 7 days with everything in Pro, and a purchased license is yours for life, with every future update included.

When you buy, you choose an edition. Basic ($99) is the complete chart trader: every entry and exit button, the hotkeys and the risk checks. Pro ($159) adds the order preview, ATM presets and order lines. Start with Basic and you can upgrade to Pro later for the $60 difference, with the same key.

Installation

1. Add the free trial to your cart and complete checkout.
2. Download the PAT Chart Trader zip file from your account.
3. Open NinjaTrader 8 and go to Tools > Import > NinjaScript Add-On.
4. Select the downloaded zip file and complete the import.
5. Open a chart with Chart Trader turned on. The panel appears in the Chart Trader column automatically.
6. Click Settings at the bottom of the panel, copy your Machine ID with the Copy button, and send it to us so we can issue your 7-day trial license. Paste the key into Settings and click Activate.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is anything disabled in the trial?

No. The trial runs as Pro, the complete edition, for 7 days: the order preview, ATM presets, order lines, hotkeys and every other feature, including pre-send risk checks when PAT Risk Manager is installed.

Should I buy Basic or Pro afterwards?

Buy Pro if you found yourself using the order preview, presets or order lines during the week. If you mostly used the buttons, drag-to-chart entries and hotkeys, Basic has all of that. You can upgrade from Basic to Pro later for the difference, with the same key.

What happens when the 7 days are up?

New entries need a purchased license. Getting out of a trade never does: Close, Flatten and Cancel keep working, so you are never stuck in a position.

Do I need PAT Risk Manager for the trial?

No. Without it, you are trialing the order panel on its own. With it, you can also test the risk checks against your existing rules.

Can I extend my trial?
