Next Bar Entry 2.0: A Redesigned Chart Trader Panel
Next Bar Entry 2.0 is a full rework of the Chart Trader panel — not just a coat of paint. It adds real usability fixes for smaller monitors alongside a cleaner, flatter interface.
The two biggest changes: draggable percent sliders for dialing in Strong Close and Retracement values, and a collapsible controls bar that frees up vertical space when your chart window is short.
Upgrading: v2.0 is available now in your customer portal. Existing licenses cover the upgrade — no new purchase needed.

Draggable Percent Sliders
Strong Close % and Retracement % now have real sliders as the primary way to dial in a value — drag to set, or still use the preset pills and manual textbox entry. It’s a faster way to fine-tune a setup mid-session, without hunting for tiny spin buttons.
Collapsible Controls Summary
Order Mode, Signal Bar Strength, and Retracement now collapse behind a single clickable summary row — e.g. “Stop · Signal 30% · Stop order” — freeing up vertical space on smaller monitors. Buy/Sell/Cancel, the status strip, and tabs stay put; only this section collapses.
Nothing Gets Clipped Anymore
The whole Chart Trader panel now scrolls, so License, Settings, and Help tabs — and the taller Dashboard state — can no longer get cut off the bottom of a short window.

Visual redesign
- Flat, square-cornered buttons and pills across the panel, matching NinjaTrader’s own native controls.
- Accent header badge with a version pill next to the panel title.
- Section headings switched from all caps to title case, bumped to 12px for readability.
Bug fixes & polish
- Fixed a layout jump when switching Order Mode — panel height now stays stable across mode switches.
- Fixed low-contrast checkmarks in light theme.
- Preset pills no longer steal keyboard focus from the value textbox.
